Coming Up: Duluth Anniversary Trip!

We are just 2 weeks away from a wonderful anniversary trip up to Duluth and Minnesota's North Shore. I can't wait!! Duluth has always held a fond spot in my heart, as it was where Mark and I had the most needed break from life a few weeks after my Dad passed away in 2007.

Unlike the two previous times we've been there, however, this time we're actually staying right down IN Canal Park! We're staying at The Inn on Lake Superior, and VERY excited :)

We're looking forward to being ON Lake Superior this year, enjoying the outdoor heated rooftop pool (for the cooler nights), s'mores over an open fire in the evenings, and being within walking distance to just about everywhere.

We are SO looking forward to this short break with our little family, considering it will be the first weekend we won't have a long run on the docket for Saturday, after our 10K the weekend before.

We'll be heading up Friday after work and coming back home on Monday. On Saturday we have planned to do a fall colors train ride from Duluth to Two Harbors, and then enjoying a fun Jazz festival AND air show the rest of the weekend. I'm sure at some point we'll enjoy some fajitas at Little Angie's, and I think this time we're going to try out Grandma's one night, as well as yummy Blackwoods.

Duluth is one of my favorite places to be, so I'm excited to be going back after a few years off :)
