Just booked our 2 nights at the Parkside Inn - Bridgeview for our last 2 nights in Mackinaw City!! Getting excited!!

We're staying at Mission Point Resort!!

We got this fantastic deal at Mission Point Resort for Wednesday and Thursday nights! Mission Point is one of the nicer resorts on the island, and we're really stoked to have found rooms for such a great deal on the Island! We'll be staying the 9th and 10th and checking out the 11th. We'll then check in at our hotel on the mainland in Mackinac City :) YAY!!!

Indiana / Michigan Road Trip Itinerary!

Friday, September 4

• Drive to Quad Cities for the night (appx. 370 miles / 6 hours)

Saturday, September 5

• Drive to Noblesville to see the Ropte's (appx. 300 miles / 5:20 hours)

Sunday through Monday, September 6-7

• Spend time with the Ropte's
• Supper plans on the 7th with Mel and Joe Dilling

Tuesday, September 8

• Drive to Warsaw to spend the day (appx. 100 miles / 2 hours)
  • Show Mark around town
  • Lunch at Penguin Point
  • Center Lake Park and Central Park
  • Supper at Boathouse Restaurant
• After supper, drive up to Kalamazoo, MI for the night (appx. 90 miles / 2 hours)

Wednesday, September 9

• Drive to Mackinac City, MI (appx. 290 miles / 4:30 hours) and take the ferry over to Mackinac Island for tonight and tomorrow night

Thursday, September 10

• Explore Mackinac Island, staying at Mission Point Resort

Friday, September 11

• Check out of Mission Point Resort by 11am and take the ferry back over to Mackinac City to explore for the day.

Saturday, September 12

• Mackinac 8 Mile Walk/Run at 9:30 am on Saturday morning!!!
• Exploring Mackinaw City and/or the surrounding area

Sunday, September 13

• Drive home from Mackinaw City (appx. 665 miles / 11:35 hours)
