I've been to the Wisconsin Dells three times now: Once in 2011 for a girlfriends' weekend before having any kids, again in May 2016 with 3 kiddos. (And yes - OMG - the differences!), and then a final time in June 2017 with the same 3 kiddos and 7 months pregnant with #4!
I met up with my friend Amanda when I was about 5 months pregnant with my first baby. We stayed at Great Wolf Lodge. The trip mainly centered around good eating, shopping, and a wine sampling tour (where I picked up a couple bottles for post-baby indulgence). Dining experiences included Damon's (recommended), Starbuck's (recommended), River Walk Pub (recommended) and Mr. Pancake (recommended).
We did lots of shopping at Tanger Outlets, a wine tasting at Burr Oak Winery in New Lisbon, stocked up on cheese at the Carr Cheese Factory in Mauston, and also checked out the "Scary Secret" haunted house, which wasn't nearly as scary as you might be led to believe.

We returned in May 2016 with the boys, where we stayed at Meadowbrook Resort. With 3 kids under 5, it was a perfect choice for us. The trip centered mostly around swimming for the boys, but we also had fun visiting Timbavati Wild Animal Park (recommended), the Army Duck Boat Tour (recommended), and mining for Gems. Dining Experiences included Buffalo Phil's (recommended), Moosejaw (not really recommended), Kicker's (recommended) and too much McDonald's.

The boys were BEGGING to go back to 'Sconsin Dells again this year, so we booked another 4 day trip there, which proved to be a fun time again. I was 7 months pregnant, however, so it was a little more tiring for me overall, but we still did have a great time! We kept it a little more low key this year, but tried very different things overall. We stayed at Meadowbrook Resort again (recommended), and swam a lot, seeing as how warm it was. We went back to Buffalo Phil's (recommended), Kicker's (recommended), River Dawg (recommended), and HuHot (recommended) this time around. For activities, we went to Knucklehead's Indoor Amusement Park for bowling and rides (recommended), Mini Golf at Pirate's Cove (recommended...although not with a stroller - oy!), Riverside & Great Northern Preservation Society, Inc. for a train ride (recommended, especially for little kids who love trains), and Circus World (not overly recommended...especially not on a miserably hot day).
