Meet my new little friend: Sony DCR-SX65

We decided that with a baby on the way and another trip-of-a-lifetime in the works, it was a good time to buy a nice camcorder to record all these special events coming up!

After doing a little market research on consumerreports.org, we decided on the Sony DCR-SX65. We had initially been looking at the Sony DCR-SX45, which is comparable, but its brother the SX65 had better reviews and 4GB internal memory (and I got it for the same price as the SX45!), so we went with it instead.

It features:

It shipped today, and I can't wait to get it and start playing around on it!
