San Diego Recap (Tuesday)

Tuesday

Mark gets over the stomach flu, lunch at Phil's BBQ, Poker, Rage and supper at Dave's, bowling and pool with Sarah and Johannes.

After the unrestful night of sleep, we finally got ready. Daniel, Iryna, Sofie and Daniel's buddy Dave picked us up, and we all went to Phil's BBQ for lunch, which was AMAZING! If you live in the San Diego vicinity and you haven't been to Phil's, GO! The lines around major meal times are super long, though, so make sure to not be in a hurry to get in and get out. But if you like BBQ, this is definitely the place for you!! It's so good that I'm having a case of it shipped to me as soon as they get their internet ordering going.

Yeah, that's right - we hardly left a scrap!

After our yummy lunch at Phil's, we stopped by a cheapo t-shirt shop, then headed to Chula Vista to play games at Dave's place. (Daniel, Iryna and Sofie were staying there). We played some poker (I WON!), then taught Dave and his boys how to play Rage. Dave's wife, Vicky made us a delicious supper (THANKS, VICKY!), then met up with Mark's sister, Sarah, and her fiance, Johannes "Jay" for some pool and bowling on the Navy base.

Sofie had to show me Dave's hotwheel collection in the room they were staying in.
